JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE possibility of load shedding remains low amid the power system stabilising.
On Monday, Eskom said in the past 85 days there had only been 2 hours and 20 minutes of load shedding.
“And, since it was stage 1 load shedding, this meant that 96 percent of South Africans still received uninterrupted electricity supply,” the company said.
“We continue to urge customers to use energy efficiently at all times especially air conditioners, geysers and pool pumps as they do use a lot of electricity.”
Eskom said it would continue to provide regular updates on the status of the power system through all the media platforms.
