JOHANNESBURG – AMONG the most topical issues in the world is the elusive search for peace somewhere in the Middle East.

The elusive process to attain peace between Palestine and Israel is a stark reminder to our political leadership that without the involvement of Jesus Christ, there can never be peace.

No one will ever know peace until the Prince of Peace, Christ, has been invited into our lives.

Amid tens of thousands of deaths, we have witnessed numerous high-profile political meetings and social conferences aimed at finding solutions over Jerusalem, but from 1948 until now, there is no sign peace will ever be attained in that region.

The United Nations (UN), European Union (EU) and the Arab League have all tried in vain to resolve the conflict between Israel and Palestine, but none have found the answer. Instead, it is worsening.

This confirms that this world needs the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ himself, the son of the true living Jehovah God to bring peace to this perennial crisis.

My piece of advice to the politicians of this world is, “Please, return to God, then there shall be peace coming to both Israel and Palestine, and eventually the entire world.”

Political superpowers of this world, including the United States of America, Russia, Britain, France and China have tried, but dismally failed to come up with peace in that part of the Middle East.

If my rough estimations serve me well, efforts to find peace between Israel and Palestine have gobbled billions if not trillions since 1948 to resolve the but peace remains as elusive as ever.

All this is money down the drain.

The political elite has used the money for hotel accommodation, flights, conference rooms, food and consultancy, yet peace has not been forthcoming.

This is enough testament we truly need the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

Seeking world peace without first seeking the Prince will never work.

The world will continue experiencing these vanities until our political leaders turn to Jehovah God.

This world desperately needs Jesus. Without the Son of the Living Jehovah God, peace, harmony and love shall continue to evade nations and individuals.

My New International Version (NIV) of Psalm 127:1 version reads: “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”

Another version from the web reads: “Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.”

Isaiah 9:6 supports this Messianic prophecy. It reads, “”For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Once more, issues on service delivery, safety and security, sound marriage, peace, love and harmony will only be attained when we turn to Jesus Christ, the Son of the true living Jehovah God.

From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, God is indomitable. No living being can engage in a fight with Him and conquer.

Find God. Find Christ and the rest, including peace shall follow.

I say, Amen, and Amen!
