JOHANNESBURG – Highlands Park were on Wednesday promoted to the Premier Soccer League when they beat Mbombela United 2-0 at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa.

The result means University of Pretoria and Mbombela United go down to First National Division .
Playing before a “wonderful atmosphere”, in a packed stadium in Tembisa.

Highlands Park won in style courtesy of two goals from Peter Shalulile that secured the win for the Lions of the North .
