JOHANNESBURG – BLUEKEY, the pan-African professional business solutions company, has announced that Spanish headquartered global SAP partner, Seidor, has taken a major stake in the business.
Figures were not disclosed.
The strategic investment boosts the Seidor group to the top three global providers of SAP Business One solutions and services, and to number one in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Bluekey’s more than 700 customers across Africa will benefit from access to a global company with experience in delivering communication, infrastructure and enterprise resource planning (ERP) products and services in both developed and developing countries.
In addition, a broader pool of expertise, technologies and services will further help Bluekey customer companies realise additional benefits from their investment in ERP – boosting productivity and efficiencies with the latest technologies.
“We knew we could increase our business growth in Africa with the right alliance,” said Carlos Iribarren, head of SAP Business One at Seidor.

Bluekey boasts a customer retention rate of 99 percent and healthy growth in recent years.

The deal fast tracks Seidor’s expansion into the African market.
Bluekey is the largest SAP Business One provider in Africa, with over 300 active SAP Business One customers.
It is an early adopter of SAP HANA.
