JOHANNESURG- THE 1990’s rhythm and blues heartthrob, Tevin Campbell, returns in late July to serenade his multitudes of nostalgic fans.
The Texas-born star appears not to be getting enough of the country, this being his third tour to South Africa, where he will perform at the Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on July 24 and 25.
His previous shows in 1999 and 2013 were sold out. With over 5 million albums sold worldwide, four Grammy nominations and achieving certified platinum status around the globe, a similar turnout is
Campbell performed in SA in 2013 and the show was sold out.
“We were compelled to invite Tevin back to the country after so many requests from his fans who could not attend his shows as they were all sold out,” says concert promoter, Godfrey Vollenhoven, of Marmalade Productions.
After a decade of performance, Campbell is ready for the next phase of his career, which includes his Big Love (performing live) and his upcoming album due for release this year.
Fans can get ready to listen to his timeless hits including I`m Ready, Can We Talk? A Better You, a Better Me, Tell Me What You Want Me to Do, Goodbye, and Always in my Heart.
The best local artists and musicians will support Campbell.
