JOHANNESBURG – EXTERITY, the Scotland-headquartered leading provider of internet protocol video and digital signage technologies, will next month host the Exterity South Africa Technology Showcase dedicated to IP video solutions.

The event set for the 6th in Johannesburg will present the latest technology innovations in the hospitality and corporate & finance sectors. Exterity will demonstrate the latest additions to its product portfolio.

Designed for channel partners, resellers and end users, and with a keynote presentation by Exterity CEO, Colin Farquhar, the technology showcase will also see Multichoice, South Africa’s leading video entertainment and internet company, present the latest regulations for digital re-distribution and the imminent launch of their first website for the commercial world.

Exterity will also be attending the IBC Survivors Breakfast hosted by the Southern African Communications Industries Association on October 4 also in Johannesburg.

Farquhar will deliver the keynote addressing how the international trends and technologies shaping the future of the broadcast industry are playing out in the South African market.

In recent years, Exterity has actively strengthened its presence in the Sub-Saharan region to cater to the evolving IP video market by opening a local office in Johannesburg in order to provide specialised support for regional customers and partners – including distributor SpaceTV and channel partners Omega Digital, Dimension Data, Global Access, Panavision and Conian.

Exterity has customers across the globe and in multiple sectors, including corporate & finance, education, government & military, hospitality, stadiums & venues and more. South Africa-based customers include Investec, Barclays Bank, Multichoice and Sasol.
