JOHANNESBURG – THE continent’s top wheelchair basketball national teams will square up against some teams from host nation South Africa in the U23 African World Championship Qualifier next week.
The showcase is set for Johannesburg from December 7-11.
Algeria, Nigeria, South Africa as well as some local teams and neighbouring Zimbabwe’s national team will participate.
South African sides are drawn from the Northwest and the Eastern Cape.
The Wheelchair Basketball South Africa Federation in conjunction with International Wheelchair Basketball Federation Africa will host the tournament.
A total of ten games will be hosted at the Mandeville Indoor Stadium.
