SOME people are pretentious.

They wear smiles when they are around you, pretending they care yet deep down their hearts, it’s all hatred, jealousy and wickedness.

Such people pretend to have the best interests for your business or relationship yet they are wicked and unscrupulous.

Jesus Christ always taught us to be wary of the devil and his destructive schemes.

My teaching is confirmed in the book of John 10:10 where it says: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.”

Beware of such people in your life, business or relationship, precisely marriage.

In my journey with Jehovah God, I have witnessed such kind of people who when they are experiencing difficulties, act as if they have good intentions.

Once they get assisted, they show their true colours.

I have witnessed such in many marriages, business, friendship or churches where unscrupulous people are the most trusted but soon abuse that trust.

I would like to urge you out there to stay alert, and not dare trust anybody for that matter.

Yes, I urge you to respect humankind, but don’t trust anybody in order to be safe.

My people, hear me clearly, the trust must ONLY be given to Jehovah God, not human beings. Human beings can change like weather or chameleons while Jehovah God remains the same today, tomorrow and forever.

Once more, my question to you, “Who are these people in your life do you always value the most? Who in your company, business or relationship do you trust the most yet deep down their hearts they are crooked and plotting your downfall?

Such wicked people always come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

They come to you smiling and laughing yet deep down their hearts are planning to devour your relationship or business.

The book of Matthew 7:15 confirms this: “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.”

I like the New International Version, which reads: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”

This is further supported in the book of 2 Corinthians 2:11, where my all-time favourite Apostle, Paul of Tarsus says: “For we are familiar with his (Satan) evil schemes.”

The same verse in the King James Bible Version states: “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

The wickedness of people I’m preaching in this forum are not new because have once been encountered by King Hezekiah, who Jehovah God always described as “captain of my people”.

Now, fourteen years after Hezekiah became king, an enemy king named Sennacherib came against Judah.

Sennacherib demanded that Hezekiah pay him 11 tons of silver and one ton of gold. To get that much, Hezekiah had to take all the silver from the temple of the Lord and take all the gold off the doors.

Surprisingly, even after Hezekiah had paid him, Sennacherib kept demanding more, something he did not deserve simply because in the first place Hezekiah was deceived to believe in the wicked people.

Brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, always remember not all people come into your relationship or business with clean hearts.

A majority plays with you, laughs, share jokes or pretends to be praying with you yet inward are baying for your blood.

I have often witnessed fake smiles coming from such people like nothing’s wrong yet in reality they are plotting.

Such people are always smiling to cover up their wicked schemes, pretending to be like a flower, but inside they are wilted.

Brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, it is during the worst times of your life that you will always get to see the true colours of the people who say they care for you.

Imagine taking an impoverished and heart-broken men and rehabilitating them

The same person few days, weeks or months down return to their old unreliable and cruel ways again. This is when you find out who really cares enough to stick with you through events that could cause the other person pain.

My advice, fellow believers, despite being deceived by some wicked people, always remain strong enough to pick yourselves up from all these crooked people and pursue the God given vision.

Always remember, when you have a vision from Jehovah God it will always do amazing things even in the presence of such enemies and wicked people.

According to Habakkuk 2:3, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

I love most the version in the New International, which says: “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

While we are learning day and night to be righteous and do good, also learn to understand that the devil always comes for three things.

According to John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”
