JOHANNESBURG, (Gauteng Guardian) – THE search is on for South Africa’s next music star.
The prodigy will be unearthed under the “The Next Star” talent show where young musicians will get a chance to showcase their musical abilities.
The winner will walk away with a R6 000 recording deal from Hard-Time productions, the Braamfoniten-based music stable.
It comes with an international distribution deal and television exposure.
Mbuso Masuku, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hard-Time productions, urged undiscovered artists in Johannesburg to enter the show.
“We want to give back to the community and create opportunities for all the young hustlers out there that want to make a mark in the music industry,” Masuku said.
“Aside from the fact that the talent show will host a diverse sound of music and caters to each and every genre, it is also very easy to enter.”
Interested artists can register at Hard-Time where they will be required to submit their demo.
Submissions can also be made electronically.
