I always wonder why greedy people amass their ill-gotten gains yet when they die, they always leave everything behind.

If it was possible to depart this earth with all the wealth accumulated or stockpiled, I would otherwise be deeply worried to die without this kind of earthly treasure I’m preaching about in this week’s True Gospel.

Each time I drive to and from work, I cannot imagine dying and leaving behind everything that I worked for.

I have been an asylum seeker for ten years but Jehovah God has favoured me with everything I have obtained through hard work and tenacity. However, when that day comes to kiss this world goodbye (die), everything I toiled for will remain behind.

I will not go to the grave with everything. It’s hard to imagine but that is the nude truth.

As if that is not enough, I might also leave behind my beautiful wife, children and of course my company, but eternity is for real.

I query why corrupt people in private and public sectors remain greedy, selfish, arrogant and sometimes pompous.

The biblical verse on Matthew 16:26 challenges me a lot day and night each time I read it: “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Remember this came from our Lord Jesus Christ himself concerning those that were hoarding or making reservoirs of wealth to themselves without caring about the poor, widows and orphans in our communities. Usually such people are very stingy and close-fisted.

People of God, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, always remember when we were born, we came to this planet earth without anything. As such, we shall also go back where we came from with nothing.

My second question to Africa and the entire world, what are your chances of meeting Jehovah God when your soul finally departs from earth yet with such sinful acts? Are we ready to face our sovereign Almighty Jehovah God when our lives expired?

Suppose the jet you always fly in or expensive car crashes today while in the middle of committing sinful acts……will you in death be ready to meet Jesus Christ, the Son of Jehovah God, considering your actions while on earth?

Believe me, on that day, even your pastors, prophets, church founders and so-called spiritual fathers will not dare defend or speak for you before Jehovah God. Only your works while on earth will speak on your behalf.

I’m not trying to instill fear on believers or heathens (unrepentant), but just conveying the message which Jehovah God shared with me this week.

Indeed, we must work! We should run successful businesses and be rich! We should enjoy life to the fullest while on earth, but do we care about the less privileged people in the communities we live? Do we care about widows, orphans, elderly and homeless people? Are we righteous?

One of my favourite ancient biblical apostles of all times, Paul of Tarsus teaches us that the greatest gift of them all is LOVE!

Do we practise or apply love everywhere we go?

1 Corinthians 13:13 reads, “Three things will last forever–faith, hope, and love–and the greatest of these is love.”

Do we have LOVE?

Three years since introducing this True Gospel Column, many people across Africa are asking if I have now become a pastor.

My answer to them remains the same: “I have seen the light, which is love, in Jesus Christ”.

1 Corinthians 13:1 of the New Living Translation version further reads: “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”

This True Gospel I’m preaching here is supported in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:7 of the New International Version. It states, “…..and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”

Similarly, the wealth that you are busy accumulating and amplifying at the expense of love will turn to be a vanity when your soul finally departs this world.

Fellow brethren, my message to you is, let us truly love one another, but also value the issue of salvation, not only focusing on riches and wealth.

I have seen, including at churches, men and women who don’t want to hear anything (gospel preaching) that is not about accruing wealth. To some people today, churches included, righteousness is no longer an issue except prosperity, riches and wealth. Remember all these are promises to those that walk upright in the EYES of Jehovah God.

Any message irrelevant to wealth and riches is denounced as meaningless yet it is Jehovah God’s directive to us to practise LOVE and always be truthful (righteous).

Truly, the money you possess is yours while on earth. When your soul departs, you shall also go back to where you came from without anything.

Even our leaders in power today, must not deceive themselves for when they die, they shall not go to heaven with bodyguards. NEVER!

Witches, wizards and doctors, political leaders, chiefs / kings, including pastors, to some extend even so-called church founders and “false prophets” must also hear me out for their claimed supernatural, magical and occult powers will be left the day their souls depart planet earth.

Your flesh, which came from the dust shall go to the dust and the spirit going back where it came from (eternity).

MY ADVICE TO YOU READER

My counsel to you brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, if you have been doing what you did unknowingly, or unintentionally, now that I have opened your eyes, please go and do the right thing out there.

Yes, everything you did before coming across this teaching appeared brilliant yet it was wrong and absolutely bad.

One of the wisest and richest of all times, King Solomon, the son of King David wrote on Ecclesiastes 1:2’s International Standard Version, “Utterly pointless,” says the Teacher. “Absolutely pointless; everything is pointless.”

The other version reads: “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “Vanity of vanities! All is vanity,” which refers to “completely meaningless!”

Those who believe in this True Gospel say Amen!
