Full set of Absa Premiership fixtures

JOHANNESBURG – NEWLY-crowned MTN 8 champions, Cape Town City, will return to the KwaZulu-Natal Province as the Absa Premiership resumes on Friday.

The Capetonians visit Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg days after they won the cup competition against Supersport United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Kickoff for the Friday encounter is 20hrs00 on Friday.

Both sides are high on confidence with Maritzburg previously beating high-riding Bloemfontein Celtic.

On Saturday, Celtic will seek a return to winning ways against Free State Stars in the Free State derby at Goble Park.

Kaizer Chiefs host Polokwane City at the Moses Mabhida, also on Saturday.

Other Saturday clashes include encounters between Highlands Park against  Chippa United at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa with AmaZulu hosting log leaders Orlando Pirates at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.

On Sunday, Golden Arrows will host struggling Black Leopards at Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban while defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns host unpredictable Bidvest Wits at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the capital Tshwane.

Another struggling premiership side Baroka FC will entertain SuperSport
United at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
