PRETORIA – ZIMBABWEAN Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has been admitted at a Netcare Hospital in Woodhill, Pretoria, CAJ News Africa can reveal.

Chiwenga and his wife Mary are reportedly battling similar medical problem which manifests in swollen hands and feet.

The duo is also reported to have lost skin pigmentation in their bodies, a development which led the former Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) Commander to visit both spiritual and traditional healers.

Impeccable sources revealed to CAJ News Africa Chiwenga, who played bigger role in ousting of former President Robert Mugabe in November (2017) through military coup is being treated at NetCare for undisclosed ailment.

But the source refused to reveal the disease Chiwenga is being treated for arguing it was not ethical.

“Yes, Vice President Chiwenga (Zimbabwe) is here (at Netcare Hospital, Woodhill, Pretoria) but I can not reveal the disease he is being treated for,” said the impeccable source.

Also here in South Africa is the Zimbabwe’s foreign affairs minister Sibusiso Moyo, who has been airlifted from Harare’s Avenues Clinic.

Moyo has been ill for weeks now failing to accompany President Emmerson Mnangagwa to the recent United Nations (UN) General Assembly in New York.

Moyo is reported to be battling a kidney ailment.

The former army general has been on dialysis before being flown to South Africa where he is expected to undergo surgery.

The chemistry definition of dialysis refers to the separation of particles in a liquid on the basis of differences in their ability to pass through a membrane while medical interpretation defines dialysis as the clinical purification of blood by dialysis, as a substitute for the normal function of the kidney.
