JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) -THE African Securities Exchanges Association will later this month hold its annual conference in Johannesburg, South Africa.

It will be held under the theme, “Africa Evermore: Growth for Sustainability”, from November 15-17.

The theme embodies the potential, growth, and stability of Africa’s capital markets.

Johannesburg Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer, Nicky Newton-King, said the packed two-day programme would provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of the strength resulting from the integration of Africa’s security exchanges.

“Those who operate in the regulated market need to know that we are part of the global financial markets. We are already beginning to see this for example in East Africa, where they are driving significant regional connectivity,” she said.

The African Securities Exchanges Association is a premier association of 25 securities exchanges from across the continent.
