SPORTS REPORTER
JOHANNESBURG – The ABSA Premiership will be in full swing tonight, but the focus will be on two Gauteng teams, Jomo Cosmos and University of Pretoria, who are battling relegation from the top flight league.
AmaTuks lock horns with Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, while Jomo Sono’s charges are away to Princess Magogo Stadium for a date against hosts Golden Arrows. University of Pretoria need to win their remaining two fixtures against Polokwane and Golden Arrows to survive the chop, hoping that Jomo Cosmos, who are four points better than AmaTuks, drop the points in their matches against Arrows and Maritzburg United.
In a top of the table clash, Bidvest Wits take on champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Bidvest Stadium. It is largely a match that will be played for pride’s sack at the winner will have Gauteng bragging rights.
