WRONG connections are real. They make Jehovah God angry. In many instances they make Him silent in people’s lives!

Wrong connections in most cases lead to conflict with Jehovah God’s desired way of living. They have been the source of commotion since time immemorial.

In the book of Psalm 1:1, we are taught not to associate with such wrong connections: “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,” while the New Living Translation states: “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.”

Always remember this, the devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy, so, there is nothing serious and positive that Lucifer and his agents of darkness could bring into your life rather than bring misery.

John 10:10 reads: “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life,” while the English Standard Version says: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Businesses, marriages and relationships have all suffered and died because of such connections.

Jehovah God loves all of us, but when we get connected to wrong people, his blessings to us cease.

Probably, Jehovah God does this to protest the new people we allowed into our personal lives yet they did not deserve to be with us.

On the other hand, good connections also make us receive mercy, favour and forgiveness from Jehovah God.

According to the book of Jonah 1:4, we see Jehovah God unleashing a violent storm against an innocent ship destined for Tarshish simply because the wrong person was running away from God’s assignment in Nineveh.

This is the reason why Jehovah God sent this storm to threaten lives of all passengers on board because they were now unknowingly connected to the wrong person.

“Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.”

The same verse in the New Living Translation reads: “But the LORD hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart.”

The English Standard Version states: “But the LORD hurled a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship threatened to break up.”

The violent wind was threatening to destroy and sink the ship not because it intended to, but because there was a wrong person in the boat –Jonah did not want to see inside it. Jehovah God Himself fought the boat as people in it connected with the wrong person ended up being victims of the wrong person.

Instead of Jonah doing the right thing to preach in Nineveh, instead, he had chosen to go to Tarshish, hence the clash with Jehovah God.

My question to you, who is in your boat? Who is in your life today? Who is in your business or network today? Who do you chat with on your mobile on daily basis? Be wary as wrong connections lurk.

They hang around with the intent to disrupt the good things Jehovah God has been preparing to bless you with if not careful.

Some people we allow into our lives are demonic and possessed. Some of these people are angels of darkness sent by Lucifer, the devil himself to disturb your otherwise bright future.

Some of these people we allow into our lives have been badly marked by Jehovah God so that the moment you get connected to them, your entire life becomes stagnant and full of misery. Some connections are regrettable.

As I preach this message, I urge you dear reader to quickly move out from such connections! Don’t allow wrong connections into your boat, otherwise Jehovah God will start fighting you left, right and centre for the reasons that you are connected to wrong people.

This applies also to worshipping. Being in wrong churches cuts your connection to the Almighty.

God will never speak to you until you take a step to get yourself out of it. He will reconnect with you again when you leave wrong connections. Some are not blessed today simply because are connected to wrong people, who happen to be angels of darkness.

In the book of 2 Kings 3:9, here we see King of Israel unnecessarily joining wars for the King of Edom, a development that nearly saw his army die of thirst while fighting other people’s war – thus wrong connections.

“So the king of Israel set out with the king of Judah and the king of Edom. After a roundabout march of seven days, the army had no more water for themselves or for the animals with them.”

The same verse of the New Living Translation states: “The king of Edom and his troops joined them, and all three armies traveled along a roundabout route through the wilderness for seven days. But there was no water for the men or their animals.”

The English Standard Version states: “So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom. And when they had made a circuitous march of seven days, there was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them.”

I say to you, get out of these wrong connections, lest you will lose your possessions, business, marriage and loved ones.

Surround yourself with good connections.

If we quickly look at good connections, we see the prophet of God Elisha at first unwilling to prophesy Joram for involving with wrong connections, but later changed his mind because of good connections.

In the book of Genesis 19:17, we see Lot being saved from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah due to his connection to right people, angels of God and Abraham. This means that when you are connected to good people, you can also be saved even if you don’t deserve that. In a way, you can attract blessings simply because you are connected to right people.

In the book of Genesis 18:25, Lot and his family were saved from Jehovah God’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah simply because of them being connected to the righteous man, Abraham.

“Far be it from you to do such a thing–to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right.”

The English Standard Version states: “Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

In the book of Luke 23:43, we see a criminal being promised paradise by Jesus simply because he chose be connected to the right person, the Prince of Peace.

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” The New Living Translation reads: “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” The English Standard Version states: “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Don’t wait until things turn sour. Wrong connections are source of commotion. Wrong connections are a curse. Good connections make us attract favour from Jehovah God.

Those who believe in this true gospel say amen!
