PRETORIA- Wounded in the first Premier Soccer League (PSL), play-offs match against underdogs Mbombela United, top flight side University of Pretoria have promised to all out in attack when they collide with Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium in their second game in a to preserve the PSL status.
AmaTuks lost 1-0 in their opening match against Mbombela at Tuks Stadium in Tshwane, blighting their chances of restoring their status in the top flight elite.
A first half strike from Mxolisi Gumede guided Mbombela United to a win over the University of Pretoria. The visitors ended the game with 10-men, Mxolisi Mayongo receiving his marching orders with 10 minutes remaining.ays Mosoane.
Club spokesperson Pearl Mosoane, says AmaTuks had recovered from the surprise 1-0 defeat to Mbombela at home, and were raring for the game against favourites Highlands Park, who hammered Mbombela 3-0 in a similar encounter.
“We are aware that we should applied a bit of a challenge in our first match against Mbombela, but that is now in the past. We are looking forward to our match against Highlands Park and we will go out in attack. We are at full strength and we hope to go out there and win the match,” says Mosoane.
Sibonelo Ngidi, the Highlands spokesman preferred to zip his mouth about developments in his club when asked for a comment.
A win for Highlands will virtually assure them of a ticket into the PSL while AmaTuks should just win to entertain their hopes of a dance with top teams again.
