PRETORIA – Leonardo Castro and Wayne Arendse scored priceless goals when Mamelodi Sundowns edged Enyimba of Nigeria 2-1 in the CAF Champions League on Wednesday night at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The win moves Sundowns to three points from one match, level with Zamalek at the top of the table and leaves the Nigerian champions Enyimba with zero points from two games.

It could have been six points already for the Tshwane giants, but their earned three points against Setif of Algeria were nullified after the North African side were banned for violence in the aftermath of their 2-0 defeat to Pitso Mosimane’s side at home.
