JOHANNESBURG- A SELL-OUT crowd is expected early next month when two legendary South African artists, Francois van Coke and Karen Zoid share the stage in what is billed to be a hot-blooded show at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.

The performers released Toe vindekjou, the song that instantly captured the hearts of music followers and became the first Afrikaans release in South Africa’s history to hit the number one spot on commercial radio charts.

“We are thrilled to confirm that two of South Africa’s foremost artists will perform together for their local fans right here at Carnival City,” says Matthew Cook, the Events and Entertainment Manager at Carnival City.

“We are expecting a sell-out show and urge fans to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. It promises to be a thumping spectacular,”.

Her unmistakable voice, razor sharp lyrics and passionate performances make Zoid a one of a kind performer.

She is always pushing boundaries on stage, whether in collaborative performances with local legends such as VusiMahlasela and ZolaniMahola (Freshlyground) or performing her ‘guilty pleasures’ in her show concept, Under the Covers.

Drown Out the Noise, her latest album, entered at number one on the charts, confirms her as South Africa’s premier female rock artist.
