Lindiwe Lekasapa Joburg theatre Junior Producer
Joburg City Theatres has announced the appointment of Lindiwe Lekasapa as Junior Producer for the entity effective August 1st 2016.
Prior to joining the entity, Lindiwe served as General Manager for The Dance Forum. Under her belt, she brings a five year track record in project and general office
management.
Lindiwe boasts extensive office and arts management experience in programming, producing, project management and financial management. All these were acquired
when she was part of the team of the various editions of the International Dance Umbrella Festival, Danse l’Afrique Danse, New Dance Festival and Joburg Arts Alive.
“We are very excited and looking forward to working with Lindiwe, her experience and skills will assist in leading the organization forward in attracting and supporting
world class productions”, says Ms Xoliswa Nduneni-Ngema, CEO of Joburg City Theatres.
In her new role, Lindiwe will be working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Producer to host relevant in-house productions, co-productions as well as
tenant hires.
