CAPETOWN – The ad hoc committee for the appointment of the public protector will submit its report on the selected candidate Parliament today .

Last week Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane was endorsed as the likely choice to replace Thuli Madonsela whose term expires in October .

She got the nod from all political parties except DA that reserved its comment .

Many political parties representatives involved in the selection agreed Mkhwebane has convincingly answered all questions during interview process .

She needs at least 60% of the vote in Parliament to be appointed as the next Public Protector .
