JOHANNESBURG- The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed it has agreed to part with League’s General Manager with Derek Blanckensee.

He served as the League’s General Manager of Football for five and a half years.

Recent media reports had indicated that charges were laid against Mr Blanckensee by the League.

The League wishes to provide clarity by placing it on record that none of the charges were related to dishonesty of any kind, but to administrative shortcomings in his department in the processing of a registration.

The PSL will make no further comment on this matter.
