THIS week, I feel highly honoured and favoured to share with you all believers of Jehovah God through Jesus Christ about the important race to be run.

As believers, precisely, Christians, we have to win that spiritual race.

This race has nothing to do with earthly implication, but the heavenly kingdom.

When we run this race and ev
entually win, we shall surely inherit the new earthly paradise that Jehovah God prepared us for centuries ago.

Not all believers who call Jesus’ name shall inherit the new paradise.

According to Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

The English Standard Version reads: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

When Jesus comes for the second time, not many believers we see speaking in tongues, including the so-called prophets, miracle performers, church founders and those boasting powerful earthly positions would see the kingdom of God, unless they repent, be born again and become righteous.

According to John 3:3, Jesus says: “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Surely, when we embark on this spiritual race, always expect departed believers such as Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Abraham, Paul of Tarsus, Jacob, Noah, Enoch, David, Solomom, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Habakkuk, St Luke, John and Jesus Himself cheering us up from the grandstand.

Right now, we cannot see them with physical eyes, but spiritually. The departed heroes of the gospel are cheering us up in this spiritual race.

My question to you, “Would you like to be cheered up by false prophets, greedy pastors of gospel entrepreneurship, bishops of money making, or by Jesus Christ Himself the Prince of Peace?”

As for me and my family, I would always want to impress Jehovah God through Jesus Christ, not human beings.

On his Second Coming, Jesus will shock many believers when he rejects many including prophets, pastors, church founders and their wives for not teaching accurate the gospel for the sake of putting the love of money ahead of Jehovah God.

To back up my teaching is the book of Luke 13:27 where Jesus Christ says: “I tell you, I don’t know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.’

The English Standard Version states: “But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’

As believers, let us embark on our spiritual race so that we win, even if we cannot finish at number one. As long as we finish this race, we shall surely be counted in the new paradise.

Jesus and all the above-mentioned departed gospel heroes are surely watching us believers as we go about our daily lives while they watch from heaven’s grandstands.

My message to you, Let us win this race! Imagine the day you shall die? You don’t die with your pastor, prophet, church founder, wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or boss at work, but you shall die alone.

Similarly, on the judgment day, Jehovah God, through His begotten son Jesus Christ, shall judge you individually. So, pray to please Jehovah God, not humans.

As for me my stance is, Backwards NEVER, Forward EVER!

My weekly message might not go down well with some. No offence, my answer is simple, I want every one of us depart from sins and win the race.

Let us all believers strip off anything that slows us down from reaching the promised new paradise.

Sin is holding us back. If we continue sinning, we will miss the new paradise.

Imagine if all could become righteous. Definitely we will be guaranteed this new life I’m preaching in this platform.

Have you ever imagined prostitutes, thieves, or athletes execute their business successfully?

A prostitute dresses in skimpy clothes to attract men, including the married ones for that matter.

Similarly, thieves, when they embark on their evildoing actions, they don’t go to steal putting on overalls. They put light clothes that make it easier for them to run when chased by police.

Same applies to athletes. When they run, they don’t put gumboots and overalls in order to win the race.

Thus, as believers, for us to win the spiritual race, we need to stop sinning. Sin makes our desired spiritual race difficult.

Sins are the gumboots and overalls that always make us lose the race.

Hebrews 12:1 reads: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

The same verse in English Standard Version reads: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”

Those interested in winning the spiritual race say AMEN!
