JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – CELL C said a problem by a hardware failure in one of its data centres affected voice and SMS services to customers in Gauteng on Monday.

The firm said the issue had since been resolved.

Customers affected by the problem were in the South, the East Rand and Midrand.

Cell C apologised to affected clients.

“We thank our customers for their patience while our engineers worked on the problem and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused.”
