The goal of the event is to provide and facilitate a platform that bridges the communication gap between passenger transport service providers, relevant stakeholders, and commuters. Such communication is essential in the modification of the transport industry.

The interview will be attributed to issues pertaining to policy, skills development, venture creation and support, innovation, safety, infrastructure and other transformation issues within these sectors.
The focus will be on all passenger transport sectors including rail, maritime, aviation, taxi and bus transport.

A much needed dialogue will be initiated to activate the much-anticipated need for change and drive the various sectors towards ensuring our public transport industry in its entirety becomes competitive and is transformed to world standards.

Officials from the National Department of Transport, municipalities including Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni, Transport Education and Training Authority, South African National Taxi Council, South African Bus Operators Association and other stakeholders in the sector will be participating at the event. – Ends
