JOHANNESBURG – The Premier Soccer League (PSL) will observe a moment of silence for the players and officials of the Brazilian football club Associagäo Chapecoense de Futebol who lost their lives in a tragic plane accident while travelling to play the final of the Copa Sudamericana.
The moment of silent will apply at all Absa Premiership, NFD and MDC matches this weekend.
FIFA has also requested players around the globe to wear black armbands.
The PSL joins the football family in mourning the tragic incident.
