HAVE you ever wondered why many people, including believers, learners, employees or even politicians, have this tendency of resisting submission to authority?

I don’t understand why the even dullest among us always refuse to be led by people with revelations.

Yet they are clueless and unable to liberate themselves from their personal predicaments!

From Cape to Cairo, whenever and wherever I have traveled across Africa, and beyond the continent, the trend is the same.

People always defy authority yet they cannot pull themselves out of the sticky situations they find themselves stuck in because of their insubordination. They need the same authorities they defy to overcome their predicaments.

Most disturbingly, even in churches where we worship, the very House of God, believers always refuse to submit to authority yet this majority doesn’t even know how to pray properly.

Seriously, it beats me to the bone marrow.

I’m as confused as I am intimidated.

Well, our Creator, who is Jehovah God, is not the author of confusion.

According to 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints.”

The New Living Translation version aptly reads, “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people.”

So, for one to succeed in personal life, it is always determined by how they submit to authority.

This begs the question, “Who is the author of confusion in our lives?”

Before I answer this somewhat rhetoric question, let me ask a few more.

Have you ever imagined why some people are employed today and immediately get fired before year-end despite the best qualifications for that particular job? Hired in the morning! Fired in the evening!

Have you ever reasoned why young couples get married in January only to divorce before December the same year?

Then there is the issue of bisexuality, advocated for by some confused about their sexuality.

By doing so, aren’t they refusing to submit to the authority of Jehovah God, the revered Creator of a man and a woman?

Funnily, even lesbians and gays in their deep confusion of trying to establish who they are, surprisingly, resist submitting to authority, which is God.

Whenever you come across such people and their refusal to submit to divine authority or protocol in life, always know they are deeply compromised or possessed by demons.

Yet, even outcasts as pigs and even dogs know their partners.

The devil is always the leading factor in their lives hence such deep confusion which lead them astray.

We have already heard Jehovah God is not the author of confusion at all.

On another note related to creation, when Jehovah God created a man, Adam, there was no confusion.

Until such a time a woman, called Eve, was created.

When Adam was alone, he never allowed confusion to come closer to him.

Neither did he fail to submit to Jehovah God’s authority.

No sooner was Eve created than the confusion ensued at the glorious Garden of Eden.

The forbidden fruit that Adam had never eaten, in submission to God authority, was eaten barely days after the creation of Eve.

That was the defiance of the highest order.

Fellow people of God, hear me correctly. With a plea not to be misquoted, may you allow me to open your eyes so you understand the source of confusion that makes people resist submission to authority.

I’m not at all accusing women of any wrongdoing but I’m trying to tackle the source of confusion, which is the origin why some less knowledgeable persons continuously resist authority or submit to protocol.

1 Timothy 2:13-14, reads, “For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.”

Who deceived this most beautiful creation of God called a woman?

Join me in the book of 2 Corinthians 11:3, “But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.”

The serpent is none other than the Devil or Satan!

Listen to Adam when eventually confronted by Jehovah God to explain the confusion reigning supreme in the garden.

When God interrogated Adam and Eden alongside the treacherous serpent about this confusion, Adam blamed Eve. He put the responsibility upon God Himself stating, “The woman you gave me.”

Eve refused to take the blame as she equally pointed her fingers asserting “the serpent beguiled me.”

Fine, the serpent, for all its manipulation, was not bad until manipulated or compromised by Satan to the extent of approaching and easily deceiving the woman.

With the woman compromised, the confusion spilled to the man who had resisted the devil and not violating God’s orders since creation.

In my journey with Jehovah God, I have discovered that Lucifer, who deceived the woman in the Garden of Eden, is the chief strategist in the confusion rocking relationships, businesses, people’s lifestyles even governments.

He is so good at sowing chaos some people are even confused about their sexuality.

The same confusion manifests itself in churches nowadays. Believers don’t really know which one is the true Jehovah God, hence hopping from one church to the other in search of miracles.

Yet in real life there is only one mediator between yourself and Jehovah God, who is Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5 confirms this True Gospel, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.”

The problem is that once one has confusion, they become ignorantly too proud again and worsen their predicament.

Desist from pride so people of revelations can assist you out of your deep confusion.

You deserve a better life.

Believe me, once you start respecting authorities at work, relationships and marriage you will definitely secure the key to unlock opportunities.

If you wish to enjoy life and maintain order at home, relationship, business, church or government, always submit to authority.

Always respect for your superiors regardless of their body stature. Submission will always see you through.

Defiance of authority, coupled with pride, is the recipe for confusion, failure and disaster.

Insubordination blocks breakthroughs. If you want success, always learn to honour or give respect to your leaders.

Always know this, behind every act of disobedience, confusion and disrespect, is the Devil.

Satan is the enemy of progress.

I can give an example of the award-winning news agency I own, Centre for African Journalists (CAJ) News Africa, I have endorsed every correspondent writing for the agency. I have in the same vein appointed an editor.

As such, if I appoint an editor and the correspondent chooses to defy the appointed individual, they immediately disqualify themselves from working for us, hence missing opportunities of making some income.

At CAJ News Africa, I have put gatekeepers to maintain order. Jehovah God Himself is the God of order and honour.

My gatekeepers at are there to ensure order is maintained, while submitting to my authority.

For any news stories to see light of day at CAJ News Africa, a journalist or freelance reporter has to go through my editors. Once they disrespect my editors, they have by extension disrespected me.

This is intolerable. The door will be shut on defiant elements.

If you submit to authority, you must be willing to be given orders. Any refusal is resisting submission.

With submission, your future at an organisation is assured. Such conduct deserves farewell parties when you leave. Submission earns you appreciation.

Don’t expect a farewell party if you resist authority. Similarly with Jehovah God, believers who submit to Jesus Christ first, they get healing, receive blessings and live blessedly before going acceptance heaven.
