JOHANNESBURG – ITEL has launched its latest smartphone, the A05s, in South Africa.
The 4G-enabled budget phone is available from select retail partners for a recommended retail price (RRP) of R1 499 (US$79).
Among other specifications, it has 32GB of Read-only Memory (ROM), which is expandable up to 128GB as well as 4GB of extended Random Access Memory (RAM).
The itel A05s spots a 6.6” HD+ Water Drop display and packs a 4,000mAh battery.
It is described as a touch of classic mixed with everyday contemporary and featuring a sleek and slim profile, exuding refinement and elegance.
Other itel smartphones available in South Africa include the itel A18, itel A04, itel A60, itel A60s and itel P40.
These are at a RRP of between R899 and R1 999.
itel Mobile is a China-based mobile phone manufacturer founded by Lei Weiguo and Shenzhen Transsion Holdings in 2014.
It is headquartered in Shenzhen.
