JOHANNESBURG – ALWAYS-ON, South Africa’s leading public WiFi Hotspot provider, will on Freedom Day provide free WiFi to users across  the country.

The service will be available at thousands of it hotspots all day on  Wednesday.

“We believe that everyone should have access to fast, affordable WiFi,” the company said on Monday.

“Quite frankly, the Internet is awesome and everyone deserves a piece of  the pie,” it added.

South Africa will on Wednesday celebrate 21 years of independence.
