JOHANNESBURG – HOUSE band Mi Casa, the Johannesburg-based trio, trio have become the latest friends of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Selvin Govender, Marketing Director for the brand confirmed the sponsorship and handed over three luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles to the jubilant band members, J’Something, Dr. Duda and Mo-T.

“We are delighted to have this association with Mi Casa as their talent appeals to a wide target audience – which includes a good proportion of a trendy generation that aspires to be associated with our brand,” says Govender.

The trio are extremely social and entertaining and are quite active on social networks. With numerous festival appearances, they reach audiences of hundreds of thousands of fans and their philosophy.

“We are nothing without the people,” says Govender.

Mi Casa’s is nominated for the “Best Group” at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2016, due to take place on Saturday at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.
