JOHANNESBURG  – NEWPARK REIT Limited has listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), making it the second company to list on the bourse this year.

It is the first company to list on the AltX board.

Newpark listed under the share code, NRL.

“Against the backdrop of a challenging macro-economic environment, the successful listing illustrates the perennial appeal of high quality assets,” said Simon Peter Fifield, Chief Executive Officer of Newpark.

Donna Oosthuyse, Head of Capital Markets at JSE, welcomed Newpark.

“We are pleased Newpark Reit Ltd has chosen the JSE as an avenue to raise additional capital to support its growth,” she said.

Newpark is a property holding and investment company that is invested in A-grade commercial properties situated in the heart of Sandton with a strategy of investing in well located A-grade properties.
