PRETORIA – South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns will venture into the unknown when they take on Algerian side Entente Setif in the opening match of the group stage of the African Champions League in Algeria on Saturday.

The match kicks off at 23 15 hours.

The Brazilians were eliminated from the competition and the Confederation Cup, but were reinstated to the former event following the disqualification of AS Vita for fielding an ineligible player.

Sundowns will also meet Nigerian side Enyimba and Egyptian giants Zamalek in their pool. Enyimba will host Zamalek in Port Harcourt on Sunday in another group match.
