JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – THE Johannesburg Boat Show will be held between Friday and Sunday at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec.

Officials say with Spring officially kicking off on September 1, there is no better opportunity to view the latest boats, marine engines, personal watercraft, boating, angling and dive accessories than at the show.

“Following the smooth running of the recent municipal elections and recent recovery of the Rand there has been an unbelievable turnaround in the economic climate and I am absolutely positive and energetic about prospects for an upturn in the boating and marine industry,” says Andre van Helsdingen, Chairman of the Gauteng Boat Retailers Association.

South African Shows Messe Frankfurt is organizing the three-day event.

Tickets cost between R50 and R100. There is free entry to children under 12.
