Politicians unite against racism

PRETORIA
– GAUTENG Member of the Executive Council for Education Panyaza Lesufi, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and the ANC Youth League have descended at Pretoria High School following allegations of racism at the institution.

Lesufi addressed students, some of them who cried over the alleged racist tendencies in which black learners at the school claim they were told to straighten their ‘untidy’ natural hair and stop speaking anything but English.

Black learners are claiming that they are being discriminated against by white teachers and learners who allegedly say black students belong to townships such as Mamelodi and not at Pretoria High School.
