JOHANNESBURG – Childline has launched a Spring campaign to encourage abused children to break their silence and focus on their beauty regardless of their circumstances.

The organisation has harnessed the strenghth of music in their latest campaign .

“ Music is a powerful medium and we firmly believe that to get a message across to other children we focus on the marketing term “kids listen to kids”. Says Childline ahead of music video release for the campaign .

The Tears in a Bottle ’campaign concided with a collaborative music video between Armand Joubert, Talent-Etc Artist Management, Follicle Hair Atelier, Fire Cherry Creative Branding and Photo Elements .

Tears in a Bottle, produced and performed by Armand Joubert, also features Talent-Etc children division’s Tylo Venter in the campaign song to create awareness against child abuse.

“In the busy-ness of today, where people start to live passed each other, husbands and wives do not spend quality time anymore, parents don’t have time for their children…” says Armand.

“With that in mind and the hurt that children experience today because of absent parents, I was inspired to write this song. With Tears in a Bottle I wanted to reach out to children, parents and families, realising that they are not the victims. No matter what happened to you as child, you can do and become anything you want. Only YOU determine where you want to be in life. You are brave and destined for greatness and forgiveness will set you free.” Adds Armand .

Jennis Williamson, managing director of Talent-Etc believes there is hope every child deserves a happy home .

“It is an honour to be working with Childline during this campaign, a campaign that will change lives” says Jennis Williamson, managing director of Talent-Etc

Armand is a young fresh, new breeze of talent and ready to chase his dreams. He started singing at the age of 5 and started pursuing music at the age of 9. At the age of 17 Armand was the opening act for the well-known group 4 Werke (Nicholis Louw, Ray Dylan, Elizma Theron & Monique Steyn) and also performed and share stages with artists like NRG, Heinz Winckler, Jacques Terre’blanche, Anders and many more and performed for longer than a year at CRC in front of 6000 people every Sunday.
